The parish was officially erected on 30 September 2012, marking the beginning of a new faith community in the region. In its earliest days, the friars lived in a rented house, carrying out pastoral ministry with simplicity and dedication.
Shortly after the erection of the parish, the new church was blessed on 30 April 2013, giving the faithful a permanent place of worship. Br. K. Sleeva Reddy OFM served as the first Parish Priest, guiding the community in its foundational years. He was assisted by Br. T. Joseph Prasanna Kumar Reddy OFM, the first Assistant Parish Priest.
In the same foundational period, land for the parish and future mission works was acquired between 2012 and 2013. Some of the land was purchased by the friars, while a portion was generously gifted by local villagers, showing their trust and goodwill toward the mission.
The educational mission of the parish began on 15 June 2014, when the school opened in a rented house. It started humbly, with only two teachers and one ayah. Br. K. Sleeva Reddy OFM became the founder and first Principal of the school, while Br. Joseph Prasanna OFM served as the first Assistant Principal.
As the number of students grew, work began to establish a permanent school campus. The school building was completed in 2016, and in the same year the institution received both permission and recognition to function up to the 7th class. Approval for the high school section was granted later in 2020, marking a significant milestone in the school’s development.
Meanwhile, part of the acquired land was converted for institutional use, and the school was built on the land belonging to the Society of Friars Minor. The remaining land continued to serve agricultural purposes.
After spending seven years in rented accommodation, the friars shifted their residence to the school building in November 2019, bringing the community’s pastoral and educational mission closer together in one place.
